     Keunggulan teknologi hemat energi yang dikembangkan ITS melalui beberapa karya terus diuji. Di antaranya ditunjukkan lewat karya dua mobil listrik yang diberi nama Ezzy I dan Ezzy II. Untuk lebih menguji kekuatan kedua mobil listrik kebanggaan ITS tersebut, rencananya akan dilakukan Tour de Java dari Jakarta menuju Surabaya pada tanggal 2 – 6 Mei 2014 mendatang.

    Event akbar Tour de Java secara resmi di-launching oleh Rektor ITS di halaman Rektorat ITS, Jumat (25/4). Perjalanan keliling Pulau Jawa oleh kedua mobil hasil pengembangan program Mobil Listrik Nasional (Molina) tersebut juga ditujukan untuk memperingati Hari Pendidikan Nasional. Rencananya, pemberangkatan Tour de Java dari Jakarta akan dilakukan oleh Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Mendikbud) RI Prof Muhammad Nuh DEA pada 2 Mei 2014.



    Tidak tanggung-tanggung, rute yang ditempuh pun mencapai lebih dari 800 km, yaitu mulai dari Jakarta – Bandung – Tasikmalaya – Purwokerto – Yogyakarta – Madiun – Surabaya. Mobil diperkirakan tiba di Surabaya pada tanggal 6 Mei 2014 mendatang dan akan disambut oleh Wali Kota Surabaya Tri Rismaharini di Tugu Pahlawan Surabaya.

   Dalam sambutannya, Rektor ITS Prof Dr Ir Tri Yogi Yuwono DEA mengungkapkan kebanggaannya terhadap hasil karya para mahasiswa ITS ini. “Dari lima perguruan tinggi yang diamanahi mengembangkan mobil hemat energi, hanya ITS yang mampu merealisasikannya,” tegasnya bangga.

     Tour de Java ini dilaksanakan untuk menguji coba mobil listrik di lapangan secara langsung. Selain itu, acara ini juga bertujuan untuk memberi wawasan otomotif kepada para siswa SMA dan SMK di wilayah control stop di tiap kota yang disinggahi. Wilayah control stop dalam Tour de Java ini adalah Bandung, Yogyakarta, dan Surabaya. “Di wilayah ini, kami dari tim Molina akan mengadakan pameran dan perlombaan antar SMA dan SMK,” tutur Dr Nur Yuniarto, ketua tim Molina ITS.

    Menurut Nur, kedua mobil ini memiliki perbedaan yang sangat mencolok yaitu, dalam penggunaan gear box. Ezzy I menggunakan gear box, sementara Ezzy II tidak menggunakan gear box. Perbedaan konstruksi inilah yang nantinya akan diteliti ulang dalam percobaan lapangan Tour de Java ini.

    Dalam penjelasannya, Nur juga mengungkapkan beberapa kendala dalam melaksanakan Tour de Java ini. Kendala utamanya adalah proses charging pada mobil. Sekali charge, kedua mobil listrik ini mampu berjalan hingga 100 km. Menurutnya, waktu perjalanan bisa menjadi lebih lama karena adanya proses charging ini. “Proses charging mobil ini paling cepat adalah tiga jam sehingga memakan waktu yang lama,” tambah dosen Teknik Mesin ITS ini.



Selain mobil listrik, ITS juga berhasil mengembangkan kembali mobil bertenaga surya, Sapu Angin Surya. Mobil yang pernah mengikuti kejuaraan tingkat internasional di Australia ini nantinya juga turut mengiringi perjalanan Tour de Java bersama kedua Molina tersebut. Bahkan, sebagai bentuk dukungan, salah satu panitia dari World Solar Challenge 2015, Steve, juga ikut bersama tim dari ITS dalam tur ini.

Tour de Java kali ini pun turut dimeriahkan oleh hadirnya mobil Lowo Ireng, salah satu mobil buatan ITS yang bergaya sporty mirip mobil tokoh hero Batman. Mobil baru yang menggunakan komponen mesin IQUTECHE (biasanya digunakan dalam mobil hemat energi Sapu Angin, red) ini juga mengikuti tur dengan tiga mobil hemat energi tersebut.

Perbedaan mobil Lowo Ireng dengan ketiga mobil tersebut adalah Lowo Ireng masih memakai bahan bakar bensin. Namun, Nur menambahkan bahwa Lowo Ireng ini memiliki inovasi mesin yang jauh lebih rumit jika dibandingkan dengan ketiga mobil hemat energi tersebut. “Lowo Ireng ini menggunakan mesin V6 dan menjadi sangat rumit karena peletakan mesinnya ada di belakang bagian mobil,” jelasnya.



Di akhir acara, Nur berharap nantinya keempat mobil rancangan ITS ini dapat menjadi teknologi yang bisa terus dikembangkan. “Semoga kedua Molina yang memiliki warna bendera Indonesia ini nantinya dapat memajukan teknologi otomotif Indonesia yang hemat energi,” tuturnya. (HUMAS ITS)

       TEMPO Interaktif, Tangerang - Mobil balap versi Formula 1 bertenaga listrik kini tak hanya menjadi produk negara maju. Orang Indonesia pun saat ini mampu membuatnya. Itu dibuktikan oleh Andre Mulyadi, bos Signal Custom Built, yang membuat mobil balap listrik Signal Kustom Electric Vehicle 1 (SKEV-1). Namun Andre tak sendirian membuatnya. Ia menggandeng Abdul Hapid, Kepala Bidang Peralatan Transportasi di Pusat Penelitian Tenaga Listrik dan Mekatronik Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (LIPI), serta AutoVision dan Alpine untuk lampu dan perangkat audio mobil tersebut.

“       Idenya terinspirasi laga balap Formula 1 dan Lemans. Pada satu sisi, kini masyarakat global lagi demam mobil listrik,” ujar Andre saat ditemui di gelaran Hari Teknologi Nasional, di Puspitek, Serpong, Rabu, 10 Agustus 2011.

       Berangkat dari ide dan semangat itulah ia bersama tim gabungan tersebut ingin membuktikan bahwa bangsa Indonesia juga mampu membuat kendaraan bersumber tenaga listrik. “Total butuh waktu delapan bulan untuk pengerjaan ini. Dan hasilnya, mobil balap itu,” ujar Andre.

       Tampilan mobil buatan Andre tak ubahnya mobil Formula besutan Ferrari, McLaren, Mercedes, atau beberapa pabrikan top dunia lainnya. Namun, ada daya tarik tersendiri pada mobil itu dibanding mobil lain sejenis, yaitu kelengkapan peranti audio. “Sebab mobil ini awalnya dibuat untuk mengikuti kontes Autoblackthrough 2010, sehingga dandanannya dibuat semenarik mungkin,” kata Andre.



      Pada bagian kabin terlihat empat buah subwoofer 10 inci, empat speaker enam inci dengan tweeter, serta tiga buah power unit. Agar lebih terkesan mutakhir, dilengkapi layar sentuh LCD 7 inci. Kesan canggih juga terpancar dari bagian lampu yang menggunakan jenis proyektor dan Light Emitting Diode (LED). Kedua jenis lampu tersebut sengaja menggunakan produk AutoVision. “Karena hanya merek itu yang mempunyai lampu LED dengan formasi deret,” kata Andre.

       Pada sisi lain, lampu tersebut juga memiliki daya pancar sinar yang jauh lebih terang tapi irit konsumsi listrik, sehingga tidak akan membuat beban baterai listrik bertambah. Tampilannya pun terkesan modern. “Itu cocok dengan tema yang kami usung, yaitu high technology,” ujar Andre.

       Secara fisik mobil itu menggunakan basis Honda Genio buatan 1993. Namun kenyataannya jejak Honda Genio itu nyaris tak tersisa. Satu-satunya warisan Genio yang masih ada adalah sistem transmisinya. Selebihnya, atau 95-98 persen dibuat secara custom. Andre menggunakan bahan dari logam, serat karbon, dan serat kaca untuk membangun bagian-bagian mobil. Mulai dari sasis, bodi, fender, hingga sistem suspensi ia bikin sendiri.

      Tampilan gahar dan kesan sporty memancar kuat juga berkat dukungan ban Pirelli berukuran 295/30 ZR19 di bagian depan dan 355/25 ZR19 di bagian belakang. Sistem pengeremannya menggunakan empat buah cakram berventilasi dengan sebuah piston lansiran pabrikan Italia, Brembo.

      Adapun soal tenaga penggerak, Andre dan tim Signal Custom mempercayakannya kepada Abdul Hapid. Pasalnya, peneliti dari LIPI itu sebelumnya telah malang melintang melakukan percobaan mobil listrik dan hybrid. “Kami menggunakan motor listrik AC (searah) bertenaga 60 daya kuda dan baterai ion lithium bertegangan 96 volt hour dan berkapasitas 200 Amphere hour,” ujar Hapid.

    Bila baterai terisi penuh, mobil itu mampu melaju hingga jarak 140-150 kilometer. Adapun kecepatan maksimal yang bisa dicapai diperkirakan mencapai 140 kilometer per jam. Proses pengisian baterai SKEV-1 itu juga tidak menyusahkan. Pasalnya, cukup menggunakan instalasi listrik rumah berdaya 220 volt dengan masa pengisian hanya 4 jam. “Bahkan, bila menggunakan charger sistem pengisian cepat, cukup 20 menit sudah terisi penuh,” ujar Hapid.

    Daya tarik lain dari mobil ini adalah penggunaan teknologi pendaur ulang energi listrik yaitu Energy Recovery Brake System (ERBS). Artinya, tenaga yang dikeluarkan kala pengemudi mengerem tidak serta-merta terbuang, melainkan didaur ulang untuk mengisi tenaga setrum ke baterai. “Walhasil, mobil ini irit sumber listrik,” ujar Hapid.

     Hanya, untuk membuat mobil ini juga diperlukan investasi yang tidak kecil. Berapa biayanya? Andre tak bersedia menyebutkannya. “Yang pasti kami bangga bisa membuktikan bahwa bangsa Indonesia bisa menghasilkan karya bagus,” ujarnya lagi.


        Pameran yang digelar bersamaan dengan Hari Teknologi Nasional pada 10 Agustus di Puspitek Serpong ini, salah satunya menampilkan mobil sport listrik merk SKEV-1 (Signal Kustom Electric Vehicle 1) terbaru yang dibuat oleh anak bangsa.
      Kendaraan sport terbaru kita ini dibuat atas kerjasama antara coachbuilder Signal Kustom, Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia (LIPI) dan didukung oleh Auto Vision serta Alpine yang masing-masing memasok lampu dan perangkat Audio multimedia.
        Kehadiran SKEV-1 merupakan perwakilan salah satu karya teknologi bangsa Indonesia di mana karya ini bisa disejajarkan dengan teknologi buatan bangsa lain.Produk ini diharapkan bisa memacu inovasi dan kreatifitas anak bangsa lainnya untuk menjadi pionir teknologi.




       Mobil Sport yang trinspirasi dari bentuk mobil Formula 1 dan mobil balap ketahanan 24 Jam LeMans ini memiliki sistem penggerak listrik yang pembuatannya digarap oleh tim dari LIPI. Abdul Hapid mengatakan bahwa SKEV-1 dibekali dengan baterai lithium-ion generasi terbaru dengan kepadatan energi (energy density) yang tinggi. Baterai bertegangan 96 Volt berkapasitas 200 Ah ini hanya butuh 4 jam pengisian agar kembali penuh dari kondisi 30%.
     Bahkan jika menggunakan sistem pengisian cepat (rapid charger), kendaraan berbobot sekitar 700-800 kg ini hanya butuh 15 hingga 20 menit hingga baterainya penuh terisi. Dengan motor listrik AC berkekuatan 60 hp, SKEV-1 diperkirakan mampu menempuh jarak 140-150 km sekali isi, namun belum pernah dicoba berapa kecepatan puncaknya. Menurut perkiraan Hapid, SKEV-1 bisa dipacu lebih dari 140 km/jam.

Koenigsegg Direct Drive

The "Agera R"

 

         The Agera R is the result of Koenigsegg’s endless pursuit of perfection.
      The model features Aircore hollow carbon fiber wheels, upgraded power and enhanced aerodynamics. The Agera R has an incredible top speed of approximately 440 km/h (273mph). Recent Records for the Agera R: 0-300 km/h in 14.53 sec, 300-0 km/h in 6.66 sec, 0-200 mph in 17.68 sec, 200-0 mph in 7.28 sec.
        The Agera R is the only roadster Hypercar with a detachable and stowable hardtop, thereby offering the best of two worlds. This, in combination with 120 litres of luggage space, truly combines extreme performance with everyday usability.
The Agera R is available in left or right-hand drive.




         The Agera R has all the features and functionality of previous year models, but also features new and unique solutions to enhance performance and visual appearance even further. Examples of these enhancements include: visible carbon on the front bonnet and bumper, new front side winglets, revolutionary Aircore carbon fiber wheels, new Aero exhaust, increased power and a raised RPM limit.
         Koenigsegg was the first Hypercar manufacturer to take steps toward green technology with the release of the biofuel CCXR in 2007. The Agera R, based on the highly competitive Agera, follows in the footsteps of the CCXR as it also runs on E85 biofuel.
       Among the many differences to the standard Agera, the Agera R has an upgraded fuel and engine management system with enough flow capacity to generate 1140hp and 1200Nm of torque on E85 and E100 biofuel. As there is less energy content per given volume in these biofuels compared to normal petrol, the fuel system has to manage a flow that is similar to a 2000hp petrol engine, which means that the Agera R’s return-less fuel system has the highest capacity of any car presently in production.
       As the Agera R is a flexfuel car, it can also be run on normal petrol. As 95 octane fuel has less octane than ethanol E85, the power is reduced to 960hp with 1100Nm of torque due to the boost pressure and ignition timing being altered to match the fuel characteristics. In order to give the Agera R maximum flexibility when it comes to power delivery, Koenigsegg has implemented the latest technology when it comes to turbo materials and design. This reduces the inertia of the turbine wheel and axle and therefore gives improved response.
